The Negative Emissions Platform welcomes A Healthier Earth as its newest member, bringing expertise in biochar-based carbon removal, digital infrastructure decarbonisation and climate adaptation. Its integrated biochar platform from the data centre sector adds an important perspective to NEP’s work on scaling high-integrity, financeable permanent removals in Europe.
Who is A Healthier Earth?
A Healthier Earth is the climate-tech R&D subsidiary of Pure Data Centre Group, delivering environmental projects through science, systems thinking and practical execution.
Its work focuses on three interconnected challenges: removing carbon from the atmosphere, decarbonising digital infrastructure, and helping communities adapt to the impacts of climate change.
A Healthier Earth recently announced the launch of the world’s first integrated carbon removal platform from the data centre sector. The platform marks a shift from project-level delivery to a fully integrated, long-term operating model designed to unlock scalable, financeable supply of high-integrity biochar and carbon credits for hyperscalers, global corporates and institutional buyers across Europe and beyond.
The team brings together expertise in plant science, engineering and environmental management, with a focus on localised solutions that deliver measurable climate, community and commercial impact through investable long-term projects.
