As human activities release more than 40 Gigaton of CO₂ into the atmosphere every year, not all of it can easily be reduced to zero. Capturing CO₂ from the air, among other carbon removal technologies and solutions, is key to reversing global warming.

The main challenge of CO₂ capture today is to make the technology economically viable. The mission of RepAir, Negative Emissions Platform newest member, is to capture CO₂ from the air at gigaton scale, by deploying their proprietary ultra-low-cost solution.

“As a member, we'll be able to position and promote our unique Direct Air Capture technology as a leading net negative solution.”

“We are very excited to join Negative Emissions Platform. As a member, we'll be able to position and promote our unique direct air capture technology as a leading net negative solution,” said Amir Shiner, RepAir’s CEO.

“Negative Emissions Platform can play an important role in securing financial incentives and grants that will allow RepAir to accelerate our product development and scale up efforts. We expect it to be a great partner for enabling the new business models that can make a great impact on the future growth and development of RepAir,” added Mr. Shiner.
