Where the CDR ecosystem comes together

On 20 May, DG CLIMA will convene stakeholders for the CRCF Day on permanent carbon removal. We are hosting a complementary evening event to deepen that engagement — an open marketplace bringing together buyers, investors, and suppliers across the full spectrum of CDR pathways.

This Brussels gathering marks the launch of the 2026 Invest in CDR Roadshow, a series of stops across Stockholm, Zurich, and London designed to accelerate matchmaking and collaboration across the carbon removal ecosystem throughout the year.

Objectives

  • Showcase the breadth of permanent CDR pathways active across the sector

  • Enable networking and follow-up conversations between projects, buyers, and investors

  • Signal strong stakeholder support for EU leadership in high-integrity carbon removal markets
